UPDATE: Bible app has been released! Check it out here! Also a free version here! (lots of exclamation marks because I'm so exited.)
Happy New Year! I am excited for this new year! 2 years ago I shared this Be Happy poster around New Years that I still love and still think about often.
Exciting news . . . . remember that LDS ABCs app I drew the pictures for? I just heard from them and they told me that between the free app and the paid app they had over 10,000 downloads. I can't believe it. I am so happy for all their hard working putting the app together and hope lots of little children are having fun coloring my little doodles.
Well, they asked me to draw the pictures for their new da . . ta . . da . . . Bible app! It's coming soon! I am really excited. I think I love these pictures even more. Here is a sneak peak.
Daniel and the lion's den. My 6 year son let me know that these lions are not scary enough.
These pictures for the bible app took 3 times as long to draw as the other app.
What took me so long?
This is the picture I sent my sister when she called me and asked "What'd ya do today?"
How can something so cute cause so much destruction?
I load the dishwasher, she pulls everything out. She opens the cupboards and throws everything out. The counter is constantly full because I am pulling everything out of her reach all day. I finally surrender and throw some goldfish crackers on the ground to distract her as if she was a puppy. She loves it.
So I appreciate the guys making this awesome app for being patient with me and not laughing too hard when I would send pictures at 2am. My only alone time to draw these days.
I'm excited for the great things in store this year for my little blog. It still warms my heart every single time I am asked to draw a picture. It warms my heart so much that I often do a little jig in my kitchen, and then go back to stirring my children's mac n cheese. So thank you, thank you to my dear friends and family that have supported me and to random strangers that have found me on pinterest, facebook or etsy and wrote sweet comments or asked me to draw your family. I can't find better words than it really does warm my heart!
